Inky, Sorry to hear; was hoping you were in. I am sure you did well in the interview. You are very young and there will be many opportunities for you from now through the next 10 years or more. I bet we will see you at American before long.

My medical was completed last Wednesday. Has anyone else heard anything?

Mark, the only thing I know is that 3 others besides myself have received the "Welcome to American" phone call just prior to Thanksgiving. Myself and at least one other in our group received a call on Monday to confirm a class date of 7 Jan. Other than Inky's news, I haven't heard anything else.

I completed medical on Nov 19, and was told last week that it finalized (I passed). Got the call from Capt Hale on Nov 27. Haven't received class date yet. Doris returned from Thanksgiving vacation and sent off my PRIA paperwork to current employer on Monday. Hoping my employer doesn't take the full 30 days to return PRIA. So, staying positive for Jan 7 class date.

I finished the medical yesterday. How long did it take to hear back? Did you get an email the call first? Does it sound like they are putting everyone in the jan 7 class? Looking forward to possibly seeing everyone after the holidays.
