It is a huge relief. The reality is just now setting in. Home for the holidays for the first time in years. Seems we are going to have a good class. Hope everyone enjoys their holidays and see you in January.

I realized I never posted my stats for those passing info on to their bros. So here us mine. Does anyone know if all training is in Dallas except the bus? Is the bus in Charlotte?

They have bus training here too from what I understand. The furlough returns got the bus to Dallas in last weeks class. It sure would be nice to get the bus to Dallas especially since I live in Dallas. One can dream right?

Talked to one of the gals in the flight deaprtment last week. Positive Space the day before class with a guest, day 1 AA company stuff, day 2 flight department stuff, dinner, day 3 in the am more flight department stuff with guest then positive space home for them that afternoon  |

Has anyone heard how long training is or what the footprint is from day 1 to completion of IOE?

Greetings Everyone...... Just want to say hi. I'll be joining many of you on Jan. 21st. I was an Oct. 29/30 interviewee. I'm an airline guy / military reservist leaving tomorrow for a month overseas getting back just in time for training. Thanks for all the info here. I'll be happy to contribute anything I find to the group. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Has anyone heard how long training is or what the footprint is from day 1 to completion of IOE? I haven't gotten any for sure on this but all my other ones have been typically 4-6 weeks till the end of checkride (depends on the airplane too, some are a longer course), as far as completion of IOE if its like my other airlines you go home for up to a month or even two before they get oe scheduled....all depends on the airplane and backlog of pilots.... |

Current classes are back logged for some aircraft and are getting a couple weeks off after either Indoc or systems

Just curious. See y'all soon! I am in the same boat - although she told me that the lady would be emailing me a package of info. That was a little more than a week ago. I'm not overly concerned with the holidays upon us. I will let you know if I here something in the mean time, but if I don't hear something by Jan 3rd or so, I'll give a shout. Merry Christmas!!! |
