Hey guys! I'll be in class Jan 21...looking forward to it! The lady that called to offer me the class date said that they would be sending us a package in the mail...anybody received that?? Just curious. See y'all soon! Awesome!! Cant wait to see you again! I have not gotten anything via mail or email. The last contact I had was last week verifying my guest and where we were coming from for them to book our flights..... |

Hey does anyone now if they are still planning on sending to some people to LGA for the MD 80 or is it pretty safe to say we will all be going to Miami either 737 or 767?

When I spoke to HR last week they were saying all jets and all bases. We will see what the drop is next month. See everyone in January. |

They must be hiring a very low percentage of the people interviewed and/or many are turning the job down. A friend who interviewed in the early December group got the call from Capt Hale today and told to expect jan 21 class. They have not even done the medical, very cool that they are giving them the news before Christmas. That being said 60 people have interviewed and there are supposed to be 25 off the street hires for January. That is a lower percentage than I expected.

Tiff & Phrog, please let us know when you get your final class & travel info. Think you two were the only ones in Jan 7. I'm dying here from the long silence since doing our Onboard stuff. Also, coming up on 2-week notice for Jan 21 class.

Hey guys. I talked to Dena on Thursday, 19 Dec about my guest and travel arrangements. She told me I should receive some more information soon via email. Like you, I have not received anything or hear anything since the 19th. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something. I planned to call later this week if I haven't received anything by Thursday.

Spoke with Dena today - super friendly and welcoming. Basically she will call you and give you the full run down...but...
Days 1-3 are company orientation with a family member (or guest) followed by training immediately thereafter. First three nights at the Hyatt with a corporate dinner on Wednesday evening. Travel on the 20th. I really think relaxation is key - these are amazingly friendly and welcoming ppl. Cheers. See you all on the 21st.

Thanks for the info. Got a call from Carrie a couple hours ago. They must've known it was driving me nuts.
She did mention that we, with our spouse/guest, should know our base/aircraft by Weds. I jokingly mentioned I was hoping for LAX to which she laughed. Then, I said 2nd choice DFW to which she said, unlike days of old, a recent class has gotten DFW. To get further details, I then asked "cuz of the Airbus' coming on line?" She said, not that airframe to which I said, ah...the S-80s cuz of STL closing. Yep.
